Frustrated with your politicians? Us Too. Let's Do Something About It.
Welcome to Strong Feelings Press, where we turn political outrage into affordable activism. We're a small team in Oregon who got tired of yelling at the news and decided to create something useful: pre-made postcards that let you tell your elected representatives exactly how you feel.
Our activist postcards tackle the issues keeping you up at night—from attacks on LGBTQ+ youth and reproductive rights to book banning, gun violence, and climate denial. Each design delivers a clear, powerful message without requiring you to be a graphic designer or wordsmith. Just pick your favorite, sign it, stamp it, and send it.
Why postcards? Because physical mail still works. Staffers can't delete a stack of 100 postcards like they can ignore emails. Your handwritten message proves you're a real constituent who cares enough to take action. And at $1 each (with discounts for bulk orders), you can afford to mail multiple representatives about multiple issues.
Every postcard is designed and printed right here in the USA by real people who believe in standing up for what's right. Shop by issue, find the messages that speak to you, and let's make some noise together.
these dingdongs keep pushing the limits of cruelty and stupidity.
with every fresh new horror they come up with,
we create a new design for you to make your voice heard.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find the address of my elected officials?
Go to CommonCause.org to get contact information for all of your elected representatives, from President to local officials like Governor, Mayor, and County representatives
WHY SEND A POSTCARD?
Physical mail takes up space! It's harder to ignore a stack of 100 postcards than 100 emails buried in an inbox
Staffers can literally hand a stack of letters to a representative with a summary: “This is what constituents are saying.”
A handwritten postcard is more likely to be read and feels more authentic and individual
Offices know you're not just clicking a button on an advocacy website — you're taking the time to express your concern
TIPS FOR EFFECTIVE MESSAGING
Keep it short, clear, and focused- one issue per card
Make it clear you live in their district- include your address if you’d like a response. Otherwise you can simply state your name, city, and zip code
Include 3 things:
1. Who you are (constituent in their district)
2. What you’re concerned about
3. What action you want the official to take
What kind of stamp should I use?
You can use a standard forever stamp to send these postcards, but you can save money by picking up a special postcard stamp at your local post office.
These postcard stamps are sold at a lower rate and can only be used by postcards
